What is the price for a self-portrait session?

You can choose between a 30- or 60-minute self-portrait session:
• 30-minute session – $95 (+HST)
• 60-minute session – $190 (+HST)

You’re also welcome to book multiple sessions in a row if you'd like more time or are coming with a group.

What’s included in a self-portrait session at APRstudio?

Your session at Art Portrait Room—Toronto’s most artistic self-portrait studio—includes everything you need to create stunning and expressive self-portraits:

  • Private Studio Time
    Choose between a 30-minute or 60-minute session in your own private studio space. Select your preferred backdrop (white, black, beige, or berry) when booking.

  • Creative Freedom, Professional Setup
    Step in front of the camera with a large mirror and remote in hand. We provide professional lighting, set design, and guidance at the beginning of your session—no photography skills needed.

What’s Not Included

• Hair & Makeup Services – Please arrive camera-ready
• Wardrobe – Bring your own outfits to match your vision

How many people can join me for a self-portrait session?

For a 30-minute session, you can bring up to 3 additional people (4 total participants). It’s a perfect option for couples, friends, or small families to enjoy a creative experience together.

For groups of 5 or more, we recommend booking a 60-minute session to ensure enough time and space for everyone.

Pets are welcome too—free of charge! Just let us know in advance if you’re planning to bring one.

Arrival & Late Policy

Please plan to arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled session time. Our schedule is often tightly booked, and arriving a few minutes early ensures a smooth start and gives you the full time in the studio.

If you arrive late, your session time will be reduced accordingly. Unfortunately, if you’re more than 15 minutes late for a 30-minute session, we won’t be able to proceed, and the session will be considered a no-show..

What is your cancellation policy?

We totally get it—plans change! Here’s how our cancellation and rescheduling policy works:

7+ days before your session:
Full refund or reschedule (no expiry date).

3–6 days before your session:
70% refund or reschedule (no expiry date).

Less than 3 days before your session:
No refund, but you’re welcome to reschedule (no expiry date).

Same-day cancellations or no-shows:
Unfortunately, no refund is available.

To qualify for a refund, cancellations must be made by 5:00 PM at least 3 days before your scheduled session.

When will I receive my images and how?

You’ll receive a download link by email within 24 hours of your session. All photos will be delivered in both color and black & white, lightly edited for brightness and tone.

The link will remain active for one month, so please make sure to download your images within that time.
